WWC Trophy visit Wednesday 10th May – an evening to remember.

As part of a global tour to each of the 32 participating nations of this summer’s tournament, the FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy visited Dublin.

Artane Beaumont FC in partnership with McDonald’s Ireland and supported by FIFA were privileged to be selected to host the Women’s World Cup Trophy

The event kicked off with a training session for our Girls Academy with Ireland Internationals Aine O’Gorman and Stephanie Roche on hand to pass on their experience. This was an amazing event for the Girls Academy and their coaches Paul and Marion.

Following the training session the FIFA team arrived and set up the Women’s World Cup Trophy within the dressing rooms to allow club members to get some treasured memories and pictures.

A massive ABFC thank you to our special guests Aine & Stephanie, the McDonald’s events team, Eve McDonald’s Fun Football, Brian from McDonald’s Artane, Councillor Dearbháil Butler and the FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy Tour team.

We are today releasing some videos of the event. We had to wait until both FIFA & McDonald’s Ireland provided approval for the club to share the amazing memories of the event on our social media platforms.
